As soon as the full schedule is released (this year via the ticket catalogue) I'm on full out mode to improve upon my spreadsheet analysis to maximise my coverage as possible during the games.
But despite reaching less than a month to the start I have not got around to one crucial aspect: what time do I actually have to watch this?
Work - I do work and this will be a drawback often through to tea-time. Luckily most days action doesn't kick off till 12pm my time and so there is a good 10-12 hours of live action most days.
Sleep - I usually sleep about 10pm-ish. This'll be thrown out by the start and I might as well give up on the idea that I'll sleep much at-all.
Day 1 is a Saturday: I'm almost definitely working. I will miss the opening action, I need all access (R) systems and the useful fully catch up-able BBC website.
Day 7 is my first guaranteed rest day. The athletics begin though I don't tend to go in for concrete wall-to-wall action of the Walk.
In the meantime it'll be a case of: catch-up; watch-up-all-night; and shut-down.
