Part Two - The Full Schedule
As soon as the full schedule is released (this year via the ticket catalogue) I'm on full out mode to improve upon my spreadsheet analysis to maximise my coverage as possible during the games.
But despite reaching less than a month to the start I have not got around to one crucial aspect: what time do I actually have to watch this?

The long road to preparation - Part One
For myself the build up to the Olympics and it's Winter and Para counterparts start properly once the schedule gets released. I get excited when I see the first headlines that a timetable has been released and soon feel despondent when it turns out to be just a day-by-day guide. However there is a lot which can still be drawn from this. So what logic goes into scheduling an Olympic games?

Tour De France 2016 Climb Preview
There are three significant singular climbs on this years tour. Two are the steep HCs of the Col du Tormulet and Mount Ventoux, on stage 8 and 12 respectively, and one really long profile which begins stage 10. The smaller steep climbs mainly occur in the latter stages but are often consecutive or with no let-up.
